Frequently asked questions

What counts as a business column?

The business columns are the output fields being consolidated, such as Product, Quantity or Region. The Source File column that ConsoliSheet adds automatically for traceability does not count towards the five-column Free allowance. Each column you keep separate counts towards the five. Accepting a suggested match, or combining two columns yourself, reduces the count. Only combine columns that genuinely hold the same field: combining different fields to stay within five would make the result wrong.

Can I see the result before paying?

Yes. Uploading, checking the column matches and previewing the first rows of your consolidated file are free. You pay only to download the complete file of a consolidation with more than five business columns.

What’s the difference between One-off and Pro?

One-off covers one full consolidation for a single payment. Pro is a monthly subscription that provides ongoing full-consolidation access while it stays active, so it costs less than One-off once you run two or more larger consolidations in a month. Neither option saves your column decisions or runs consolidations automatically: you upload and review each consolidation.

Do I need an account?

Not for Free jobs of up to five business columns, and not for a One-off: Stripe asks for your email at checkout. Pro needs an account.

What file types can I use?

XLSX and CSV.

What happens to my uploaded spreadsheets?

Uploaded files and the data generated while processing them are temporary. We remove them after they are no longer needed, with an absolute target of deletion within 24 hours of upload.

Can I cancel Pro?

Yes. You can manage or cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account’s Manage billing option, which opens Stripe’s secure Customer Portal.
