ConsoliSheet is operated by DPW Global Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14326340), with its registered office at Fulford House, Newbold Terrace, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV32 4EA.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit ConsoliSheet or use our services.

Information you provide to ConsoliSheet

When you use ConsoliSheet, you may provide information including:

• spreadsheets and CSV files that you upload for processing;
• information contained within those files;
• column names, mappings and validation information generated while processing them;
• your name and email address if you contact us;
• if you create an account, your email address, your password (stored only in a securely hashed form), whether your email address is verified, your account entitlements, your email preferences and a content-free record of your account’s consolidation activity (dates, file and column counts and whether a free, one-off or Pro entitlement was used; never file names, column names or spreadsheet contents), which we use to run your account and understand how ConsoliSheet is used, keep while your account exists for up to 25 months, and delete with your account; and
• billing information if you buy a paid service, such as your purchase and subscription status and the Stripe references that link your payments to your account. You enter card details directly with Stripe; ConsoliSheet does not receive or store them.

Files uploaded to ConsoliSheet may contain personal information about you or other people. You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason and, where required, lawful basis for uploading and processing that information.

Information we collect automatically

When you use our website, we may collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps and security or diagnostic information.

We may also use analytics to understand how people use ConsoliSheet. Where consent is required, analytics technologies are only used after you have made the appropriate choice through our cookie controls.

How we use uploaded spreadsheets

ConsoliSheet processes uploaded files to provide the service you request. This can include inspecting spreadsheet structure, matching columns, identifying potential problems and producing a consolidated spreadsheet.

We do not use the contents of your spreadsheets for advertising.

We do not use the contents of your spreadsheets to train AI models.

The current ConsoliSheet service does not send the contents of uploaded spreadsheets to external AI or large language model providers.

How long we keep uploaded files

For Quick Consolidate, uploaded files and generated processing data are temporary.

We remove this data after it is no longer required to provide the service, with an absolute target of deletion within 24 hours of upload. Deletion may take place asynchronously rather than immediately after your download.

Limited technical records may be retained for security, reliability and troubleshooting purposes. These records are designed not to contain the contents of your spreadsheets.

If we introduce services designed to retain files for longer periods, we will update this Privacy Policy and explain the applicable retention period.

Emails we send

Account and service emails. If you create an account, we send the emails needed to run it, such as email verification, password resets, and messages about your purchases, subscription, account or the security of the service. We send these because they are necessary to provide the service you asked for, or for our legitimate interest in keeping accounts secure. They are not marketing, and they continue if you unsubscribe from marketing.

Tips, product updates and offers. We occasionally email account holders about ConsoliSheet’s own services: tips for consolidating spreadsheets, product updates, and offers for ConsoliSheet’s paid options. The sign-up form tells you about these emails and has a box to tick if you don’t want them. You do not need to accept them to create an account or use ConsoliSheet. If you create an account without ticking that box, we may send them under the “soft opt-in” rule in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because you gave us your email address when you created your ConsoliSheet account; our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in telling you about our own similar services. If you turn them on in your account, or chose to receive them on our earlier sign-up form, our lawful basis is your consent. Accounts created before this sign-up notice was introduced on 1 October 2026 only receive these emails if they chose to. We record your choice, when and where you made it (for example, the sign-up form or your account page) and the wording you were shown. These emails never refer to the names or contents of your spreadsheets.

Unsubscribing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. You can also turn marketing emails off in your account, or email [email protected]. Unsubscribing takes effect straight away, does not close your account and does not stop account and service emails. You can object to direct marketing at any time.

Do-not-email list. When you unsubscribe, we keep a one-way coded (keyed hash) version of your email address on a do-not-email list, so that we do not send you marketing again by mistake, including if you later close and recreate an account. It is not used to contact you. If you later choose to receive marketing again, that new choice is recorded. If an email to you permanently bounces, or you mark one of our emails as spam, Resend tells us and we keep a similar coded record, with the reason and date, so that we do not send you marketing.

How long we keep this. Your email preference and its history are kept while your account exists and deleted when your account is deleted. A do-not-email entry is kept for as long as it is needed to respect your objection.

Why we process personal information

Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information because:

• it is necessary to provide a service you have requested or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
• it is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, maintaining and improving ConsoliSheet;
• we need to comply with a legal obligation; or
• you have given consent, where consent is the appropriate lawful basis.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include keeping the service secure, understanding and improving its performance, preventing abuse and responding to enquiries.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to operate ConsoliSheet and our website. These may include hosting and infrastructure providers, security and content-delivery providers, analytics providers and payment providers.

Cloudflare provides network, security and content-delivery services for ConsoliSheet. Google Analytics may be used to help us understand website usage where the applicable consent requirements have been satisfied. Resend delivers ConsoliSheet’s emails on our behalf, which means it processes your email address and the content of the emails we send you. Stripe processes payments for ConsoliSheet’s paid services. It acts on our behalf when taking payments, and for its own purposes, such as fraud prevention and meeting its legal obligations, under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the transfer is made using a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards where required.

Cookies

ConsoliSheet uses technologies that are necessary for the website and service to operate securely.

We may also use optional analytics technologies to understand how the website is used. Where consent is required, these technologies are controlled through our cookie consent mechanism. You can review or change your cookie preferences using the cookie settings available on the website.

If you accept statistics cookies, ConsoliSheet also keeps a first-party record of your visit to understand where people stop when using the service. It notes the page you arrived on, the website that referred you, any campaign details in the link you followed (such as the advertising campaign), and which steps you reached, such as choosing files, uploading, reviewing and downloading. It never includes the names or contents of your spreadsheets. It is linked to your visit using our essential session cookie, is not shared with advertising or analytics providers, and is deleted after 90 days (any advertising-click reference after 30 days). If you refuse statistics cookies, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, this record is not linked to you.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights relating to your personal information, including rights to access your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You have an absolute right to object to the use of your information for direct marketing.

These rights are not absolute and may depend on the circumstances and lawful basis for processing.
